After studying at LCC, she entered cinema in 1968 following a third-place finish in the Ses magazine contest. She married Ali Kocatepe in 1975 and later separated. Between 1976 and 1980, she went to London to study textile education during the sex movie boom. She married a second time in 1984. Following her recovery from breast cancer, she returned to the stage in 2001. Some of her known acting works include the films Remember us, Ask Yeniden, and Fosforlu Cevriyem.
