Fahadh Faasil is an Indian actor and film producer who was born on August 8, 1982, in Alappuzha, Kerala, India. He predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry and also works in Telugu films. He is the son of filmmaker Fazil. Fahadh began his film career at the age of nineteen by starring in the leading role in his father's 2002 romantic film Kaiyethum Doorath, which was a critical and commercial failure. After a gap of seven years, he made his comeback with the 2009 anthology film Kerala Cafe, appearing in the short film Mrityunjayam, and subsequently attained public attention for his role as Arjun. He has acted in more than forty films and received several awards, including a National Film Award, four Kerala State Film Awards, and three Filmfare Awards South.
