Ess Hödlmoser is a trans non-binary actor, stunt performer, and circus artist. Their career began in the industry as a stunt performer and stunt double, where their flexibility and movement quality allowed them to portray creatures, monsters, and ghouls. These roles include appearances in IT, A Simple Favour, Wish Upon, The Handmaid’s Tale, Umbrella Academy, What We Do In The Shadows, The Strain, Killjoys, Taken, 12 Monkeys, and The Expanse. As an actor, Hödlmoser has appeared as Cindy in the second season of The Boys, as M in the second and third seasons of Motherland: Fort Salem, and as Copperhead in Code 8.
