Biography
Esra Ronabar is an actress born in Ödemiş, Turkey, on July 19, 1978. She studied chemistry at Ankara University before taking acting courses with teachers including Altan Erkekli, and briefly working with Rutkay Aziz and Metin Balay. She graduated from the School of Language and History – Geography with a degree in theatre studies. Between 1997 and 1998, she worked for the Ankara Art Theatre, performing in the plays Elmadaki Barış and Küçük Karabalık. In 2013, she was cast in a leading role as the character Sevgi Gündoğdu in the fantastic drama television series Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim, appearing in twelve episodes before suffering injuries in a car crash in September 2013 in Bahçeköy.
