She began her career as a child actress in West End theatre, Doctor Who in 2013, and Utopia from 2013 to 2014. Her earlier film credits include Brimstone in 2016, Ghostland and Two for Joy in 2018, and Horrible Histories in 2019. She is best known for her lead role as a child of deaf adults in the 2021 drama film CODA, which earned her a British Academy Film Award nomination for Best Actress, and for starring in the Netflix adventure series Locke and Key from 2020 to 2022.
