Edward Pomerantz is a writer, novelist, screenwriter, playwright, and actor whose work spans film, television, and the stage. His known credits include writing for the television series Law & Order and Here's Boomer, as well as work on the films Caught and Face to Face. He is also credited for work on The Princess and the Cabbie and The Gold Bug.

In addition to his screen and television writing, Pomerantz is a playwright and novelist. His plays and screenplays have been performed and read in New York City at venues including the Westside Theatre, the Actors Studio, the New Federal Theatre, and The Kitchen.

Pomerantz serves as a member of the writing faculty at SUNY-Purchase and Columbia University.
