Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones is a British film director, film producer, and screenwriter who was born on May 30, 1971, in Beckenham, London, England. He is the son of English singer-songwriter David Bowie and Angie Bowie. Jones directed the feature films Moon in 2009, Source Code in 2011, Warcraft in 2016, and Mute in 2018. For his work on Moon, he won the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer. He also directed his first short film, titled Whistle, in 2002, and subsequently directed commercials and concerts for his father.
