Duan Yihong is a Chinese actor born on May 16, 1973, in Yili, Xinjiang province. He applied to the Central Academy of Drama in 1992 and 1993, but was not accepted until 1994 as a third-degree candidate. He graduated in 1998 and entered the National Theatre Company of China. Duan Yihong is known for starring in plays, including a production of Rhinoceros in Love, where he was referred to as a second-generation actor. He has also been known by the stage names 段奕宏, Yihong Duan, and Duan Yi-Hong.
