Dragon Lee, also known as Dragon Guh Ryong, is a South Korean actor and practitioner of Taekwondo and Hapkido born on August 12, 1958, in Seosan, South Chungcheong, South Korea. Often called Dragon Lee for Bruceploitation purposes, he made a name for himself as a martial arts film star in the 1970s and 1980s by impersonating Bruce Lee after his passing. Guh studied taekwondo with fellow actor Kim Tai-Chung, who served as a double in scenes of Game of Death filmed years after Bruce Lee died. Guh was discovered at a theater by a man who noted his resemblance to Bruce Lee, knew film directors in Hong Kong, and helped him advance his career. He has known credits in acting with thirty entries and is also known by the names 巨龍, Bruce Lei, and 구룡.
