Dmitriy Petrovich Dyuzhev is a Russian film and stage actor and singer. He was born on July 9, 1978, in Astrakhan, RSFSR, USSR, to actor Peter Dyuzhev and Ludmila Dyuzheva. He attended the Moscow Philharmonic School (GITIS) to study acting and directing. Before making his film debut in the year 2000 in 24 Hours by director Alexander Atanesyan, Dyuzhev performed in theatrical plays. His first major success came in 2005 with his performance as Kosmos in Aleksei Sidorovs Brigada. Since then, he has achieved considerable Russian acclaim, securing major roles in award winning and top grossing domestic films.
