David Fincher is an American film director born in Denver, Colorado. He began his career in filmmaking at an early age and directed numerous music videos, including Madonna's "Express Yourself" and "Vogue", both of which won him the MTV Video Music Award for Best Direction. Fincher made his feature film debut with Alien 3, followed by the thriller Seven. He also directed The Game and Fight Club, among other films. Fincher's films have received 40 nominations at the Academy Awards, including three nominations for him as Best Director. He has directed 78 films and television shows, primarily thrillers, and is known for his work in the film industry.
