Biography
David Filoni is an American screenwriter, director, and producer who currently serves as the chief creative officer of Lucasfilm. His early career included directing episodes of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He was subsequently hired by George Lucas to oversee direction on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where he also served as a writer and director for numerous episodes, including the series' theatrical film. Filoni created the follow-up series Star Wars Rebels, acting as its supervising director, executive producer, and writer. He is the creator, executive producer, and sole writer of the live-action miniseries Ahsoka. Additionally, he holds executive producer credits for the television series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
