Dan Redican is a Canadian actor, producer, comedy writer, and puppeteer who was born in 1956 in Etobicoke, Greater Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is best known for his work with the comedy troupe the Frantics, as a founding member working with the group since 1979 on stage shows. Redican is known for his work on Burnt Toast from 2005, Puppets Who Kill from 2002, and The Wrong Guy from 1997. He has been married to Carol Commisso since April 7, 1990, and they have two children. Redican started his career as a puppeteer performing at birthday parties and church functions before joining Tom Vandenburg to perform family shows at The Toronto Centre for the Arts on Dupont Street. He later focused on solo performances in London, Ontario, and entered television puppetry on the CHCH program Adventures of Snelgrove Snail.

He also appeared in the 1994 Canadian film Dan Redican Comedy Hour, directed by Perry Rosemond, alongside actors Paul Greenberg, Sheila McCarthy, Deborah Theaker, and Maria Vacratsis.
