Daisy Jessica Edgar-Jones, born 24 May 1998 in Islington, London, England, is an English actress. She first appeared on television in the long‑running ITV drama Cold Feet, joining the cast from 2016 to 2020, and later portrayed a lead in the BBC adaptation of War of the Worlds from 2019 to 2021. Edgar‑Jones achieved international recognition for starring as Marianne in the BBC and Hulu limited series Normal People (2020), a performance that garnered nominations for both a British Academy Television Award and a Golden Globe Award. She has since worked in both film and television, expanding her repertoire across genres.
