She was an Australian-American stage and screen actress whose extensive theatre credits included Broadway productions of Macbeth in 1956, The Rehearsal in 1963, and The Right Honourable Gentleman in 1965. Her film appearances included Auntie Mame in 1958, The Killing of Sister George in 1968, The Ruling Class in 1972, Theatre of Blood in 1973, and Dreamchild in 1985. She met actor Vincent Price on the set of the British film Theatre of Blood, and became his third wife in 1974.
