Following a short modeling career overseas, she began acting professionally after booking a role in Walk the Line and subsequently moved to Los Angeles. While in Memphis, she met local director Craig Brewer, who cast her in independent films, his studio film Black Snake Moan, and the MTV series 5 Dollar Cover. Her other acting credits include the Showtime series Masters of Horror and the 2023 comedy horror film Hanky Panky.
