Cheryl Hall was a British actress born in London on July 23, 1950, and she died on August 12, 2026, at the age of 76. She is best known for playing Shirley, the girlfriend of Wolfie Smith in the British sitcom Citizen Smith. Her television credits also include appearing in Dear Mother...Love Albert as Rodney Bewes' screen girlfriend, playing a clippy in the On the Buses episode The Epidemic, and appearing in the Doctor Who story Carnival of Monsters in 1973. Prior to that, she had been shortlisted for the role of the Doctor's companion Jo Grant before the part went to Katy Manning. Her other credits include an appearance as an inmate in an episode of Within These Walls in 1974 and playing David Jason's love interest in the ITV sitcom Lucky Feller.
