Chen Sisi is a Chinese actress born on June 14, 1983, in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama, having begun her studies there in 2002. In 1993, she acted in her first television series, Blue Yearning. She made her official debut in the 2005 television series If the Moon Has Eyes. Chen became well known for playing the role of Cao Guiren in the 2011 television series Empresses in the Palace. In 2012, she starred in her first movie, Flying Like a Dream. Her subsequent acting work includes starring roles in the 2013 television series The Story of Zheng Yang Gate and the movie Children's Heart, followed by a participation in the 2014 costume drama The Empress of China.
