Cam Gigandet is an American actor born on August 16, 1982, in Tacoma, Washington, USA. He made his acting debut in 2003 with a guest appearance in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Gigandet continued his television career with recurring roles in The Young and The Restless and Jack and Bobby in 2004 and 2005. He successfully auditioned for the role of Kevin Volchok on the Fox teen drama series The O.C. in 2006. Gigandet was cast in the film adaptation of the best-selling vampire book trilogy Twilight in December 2007. He has appeared in numerous other films and television shows, including Never Back Down and Burlesque.
