Burak Sergen is a Turkish actor born on February 9, 1961, in Ankara, Turkey. Coming from an artistic family as the son of an opera artist and a theatre artist, he pursued his education in the theatre department at Hacettepe University following his secondary and high school years. After graduating, he performed on numerous theatre stages and joined the State Theatres in 1985. Active in his career, he has appeared in more than thirty films since 1996. Additionally, he is known as Semih Sergen's son and Toprak Sergen's elder brother. In his personal life, he married Işıl Sergen in 1999.
