Bud Spencer was an Italian actor. He was known for his roles in action-comedy films. Spencer was a former professional swimmer and also received a degree in law. He registered several patents and became a certified commercial airline and helicopter pilot. Spencer supported and funded children's charities, including the Spencer Scholarship Fund. He appeared in over 20 films, mostly in collaboration with Terence Hill. Spencer's known credits include 104 titles. He was born in Napoli, Campania, Italy on October 31, 1929, and passed away on June 27, 2016, at the age of 86.
