Bridget Jane Fonda, born January 27, 1964 in Los Angeles, California, is an American former actress. She is a member of the Fonda acting dynasty, the granddaughter of Henry Fonda, daughter of Peter Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda. Fonda’s film work includes The Godfather Part III (1990), Single White Female (1992), Point of No Return (1993), Jackie Brown (1997) and A Simple Plan (1998). She received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the television film Scandal (1989) and earned additional nominations for other television films. After a career that amassed fifty‑five credited roles, she retired from acting in 2002. She is married to composer Danny Elfm.
