Boots Anson-Roa, born Maria Elisa Cristobal-Anson on January 30, 1945, is a Filipino actress, columnist, editor, and lecturer. A Bicolana, she is the eldest daughter of post-war matinee idol Oscar Moreno and Belen Cristobal. She attended the Assumption Convent in Manila for her primary and secondary education. Her brother, Alvin Anson, is also a lead actor and model. Anson-Roa was married to her Dance-o-Rama co-host Pete Roa from 1964 until his death in 2007, and the couple had four children.
