Biography
Blas García is a veteran Mexican announcer and dubbing actor born on May 26, 1942, in Tula, Hidalgo. He began his career in 1966 with a role in the series I Spy. His extensive work in dubbing includes the 1977 film My Friend the Dragon and Japanese animated series such as Merman of the Sea and Captain Twinkle. García is recognized as the official voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers, Igor in the Winnie the Pooh series, Agent K in the Men in Black trilogy, and Saruman in The Lord of the Rings saga. Additionally, he is credited for his work in Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, and the 2007 Transformers film.
