Bernard Dhéran was a French actor active in film, television, and theatre for over six decades. He was born on 17 June 1926 in Dieppe, France. Dhéran was recognized for his work in dubbing, providing the French voice for various actors including David Niven, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Plummer, Ian McKellen, and Leslie Nielsen. He also voiced Count Dooku in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and dubbed Christopher Lee's performance in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Dhéran was inducted into the Sociétaires of the Comédie-Française in 1961 and died on 27 January 2013 at his home in Marrakech.
