Béatrice Dalle, born Béatrice Cabarrou on December 19, 1964, in Brest, Finistère, France, is a French actress and model. She grew up in Le Mans with her mother, father, and an older sister, and ran away from home to live in Paris at the age of 15. Dalle is best known internationally for her debut role in the 1986 film 37°2 le matin, which was also released as Betty Blue. Renowned for her intense and unconventional roles, she often portrays characters who are both provocative and transgressive. Throughout her career, she has appeared in over fifty films, with ninety-three known acting credits on the Movie Database. In 1985, she married the painter Jean-François Dalle, and they divorced in 1988. She later married an inmate in 2005 whom she met while acting in a short film.
