Barry Ward is an Irish actor born on January 13, 1971, in Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland. He began his acting career as a child actor, appearing in the RTÉ and BBC series Family in 1994 and Plotlands in 1997, as well as the film Sunburn in 1999. His subsequent film credits include Jimmy's Hall and Blood Cells in 2014, Extra Ordinary in 2019, and Dating Amber in 2020. His work in Dating Amber won him an IFTA. On television, Ward is known for his roles in the RTÉ series Rebellion in 2016 and Taken Down in 2018, the Sky Atlantic series Britannia from 2017 to 2019 and Save Me from 2018 to 2020, and the BBC series The Capture in 2019.
