Following a meeting with Atila Pesiani, he joined the Play Theater Troupe. His film debut came in 2003 with the film Qadamgah. In 2004, he received a nomination for an Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in Big Drum Under Left Foot, and he later received an Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for The Loose Rope.
