Avan Tudor Jogia, born February 9, 1992 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actor, author and director. He first gained recognition portraying Danny Araujo in the 2006 television film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story. After relocating to the United States in his late teens, Jogia secured recurring television roles, including a part in the science‑fiction series Caprica (2009–2010) and a regular role on the teen sitcom Victorious (2010–2013). He later starred as Danny Desai in the drama series Twisted (2013), as Tutankhamun in the historical miniseries Tut (2015), as Roman Mercer in the paranormal action series Ghost Wars (2017–2018), and as Ulysses Zane in the comedy series Now Apocalypse (2019).
