Ashraf Abdul Ghafour was an Egyptian actor born on June 22, 1942, in Egypt, and he passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 81. He received his acting diploma from the High Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1963. He was married to his cousin, and they had a son named Taamer and a daughter named Reeham, who is also an actor. He began his career on stage, performing in productions such as Lady Gulfidaan in 1962, Soulymaan al-Halaby and Three Nights in 1965, Dead with no graves in 1966, Guevara’s death and My Homeland Acre in 1968, and Fire and olives in 1969. In 1967, he made his television debut in the series Cairo and the people.
