Biography
Anya Wu is an actress and performer born on February 17, 1976, in Taiwan. She relocated to the United States with her family at the age of six and was raised in New York City. She initially returned to Taiwan after being discovered by a record company to pursue a career as a singer. During this period, she gained prominence as the first female DJ in Taiwanese clubs, attracting media attention from Taiwan and Hong Kong. Her public profile led Director Jingle Ma to notice her in a magazine interview. Ma subsequently persuaded the film production company Golden Harvest to relocate her to Hong Kong and sign her to a contract.
