Angelo Daniel Badalamenti was an American composer who was known for his work scoring films for director David Lynch. His notable scoring credits include Blue Velvet, the Twin Peaks saga covering 1990 to 1992 and 2017, The Straight Story, and Mulholland Drive. Born in New York City, New York, on March 23, 1937, he was also known as Andy Ba and held 86 known credits in the sound department. Badalamenti received the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for his Twin Peaks Theme.
