He is best known for creating, executive producing, and writing the CBS series The Equalizer beginning in 2021, the CBS show Take Two in 2018, and the ABC show Castle from 2009 to 2016. His feature film writing credits include the screenplays for Air Force One, End of Days, and Hollow Man. Marlowe won the Nicholl Fellowship award for screenwriting for his script The Lehigh Pirates, and his subsequent space-based adventure script Apogee sold for $500,000. Additionally, his first produced screenplay was the 1997 action-thriller Air Force One, which he sold as an original script to Beacon Pictures.
