Alexey Vladimirovich Vorobyov, also known internationally as Alex Sparrow, is a Russian actor and singer who performs in both Russian and English. Born on January 19, 1988, in Tula, RSFSR, USSR, he is known for acting with fifty-five known credits listed on The Movie Database. He became known for appearing on the Russian version of The X Factor at the age of seventeen in 2005. In 2006, he was contracted by Universal Music Russia, and in December 2007, he was appointed as a goodwill ambassador for Y-PEER, which is a youth-based initiative of the United Nations Population Fund. He also represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held in Germany.
