Alexander Everett Moffat is an American actor and comedian born on March 25, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois. He began his comedy career as a Chicago-based improviser and featured performer at The Second City. In 2016, during the forty-second season of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, he debuted as a featured player alongside Mikey Day and Melissa Villasenor. After two seasons as featured players, all three became repertory cast members in 2018 at the start of the forty-fourth season. Moffat is perhaps best known for his impressions of Eric Trump and Joe Biden. He left Saturday Night Live in 2022 after six years as a cast member and made his Broadway debut in The Cottage in 2023.
