Alessandro Momo was an Italian actor born in Rome, Italy, whose acting career lasted a very short period. He became famous thanks to his performances in various films, including The Police Serve the Citizens?, Lovers and Other Relatives, The Night of the Assassin, and La scoperta. He is also noted for his roles in 1973's Malizia and 1974's Scent of a Woman. In the film Scent of a Woman, directed by Dino Risi, Momo co-starred alongside Vittorio Gassman and Agostina Belli. Throughout his career, he had known credits in acting across several projects.

Momo died in Rome on November 19, 1974, at the age of 17, just a few days before his eighteenth birthday, which would have been on November 26, 1974. His death resulted from a motorcycle accident that occurred in the weeks following the end of the making of the film Scent of a Woman. The motorcycle involved in the fatal accident was a Honda CB750 that had been lent to him by his friend, the actress Eleonora Giorgi, who had left for a trip. Following the incident, the actress was later investigated for reckless behavior.
