Biography
Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon was a French actor, film producer, screenwriter, singer, and businessman born on November 8, 1935. He emerged as a prominent European leading man from the late 1950s through the 1980s and became an international icon of the French cultural landscape. His notable filmography includes roles in Christine, Women Are Weak, Purple Noon, Rocco and His Brothers, L'Eclisse, The Leopard, Le Samourai, The Swimming Pool, and Monsieur Klein. Recognized for his striking looks and talent, Delon maintained enduring popularity as a cinematic star throughout the 1960s and 1970s. He passed away on August 18, 2024. Delon was born in Sceaux, Hauts-de-Seine, France, to parents Édith Arnold and Fabien Delon.
