Ajay Kalahastri Naidu is an American actor born on February 12, 1972. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, and raised in Chicago as the son of Indian immigrants from Chittor District, Andhra Pradesh. He attended Evanston Township High School and trained as an actor with the American Repertory Theater's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. His first professional acting job was in the film Touch and Go, released in 1986, which he secured from an open call. This role led to subsequent television work, including playing Paquito in the television movie Lady Blue in 1985 and Nick Santana in the ABC Afterschool Special episode titled No Greater Gift in 1985.
