Adah Sharma is an Indian film actress born in Palakkad, Kerala, and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She was born on May 11, 1989. After finishing her schooling, she made her acting debut with a leading role in the 2008 Hindi language horror film 1920, which was a box office success. Her portrayal of a possessed woman in the film received critical praise and earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut nomination. She later appeared in the romantic comedy film Hasee Toh Phasee in 2014, and subsequently ventured into South Indian film industries, including the Telugu language films Heart Attack in 2014 and S/O Satyamurthy in 2015, as well as a Kannada language film titled Rana Vikrama.
