World Cup qualification: Hungary messes up, England celebrates a runaway victory – FOOTBALL

Punishment is needed …

Nothing works for the Hungarian national team without fans! There is only one bitter 1-0 defeat against Albania.

Because of racist failures and massive misconduct by fans, the ranks had to remain empty. No fans are allowed in the next World Cup qualifying match either.

Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi still holds the tie with a parade against Myrto Uzuni. In the 80th minute, Armando Broja scored the golden goal. As a result, the World Cup qualification is a long way off. The Hungarians remain in fourth place, but are already five points behind the second-placed Albania.

The favorites are not naked

There was enough stumble potential, but all favorites stayed cool!

England easily wins 5-0 in Andorra, while English fans enjoy the summer temperatures and the Andorran beer. Meet Ben Chilwell, Bukayo Saka, Tammy Abraham, James Ward-Prowse and Jack Grealish.

Despite a shaky start, Austria won 2-0 on the Faroe Islands. The Leipzig Konrad Laimer and Bayern professional Marcel Sabitzer ensure the winning goal.

In Poland, Bayern superstar Robert Lewandowski, who is substituted after 66 minutes, does not have a hit. Against football dwarf San Marino there is a 5-0.

Strange scene in Switzerland

The strangest moment came in the game between Switzerland and Northern Ireland. The Northern Irishman Jamal Lewis was sent off with a yellow-red in the 37th minute because it took too long for a throw-in. The first yellow card he got for a tactical foul on Gladbacher Breel Embolo.

Last minute madness

Scotland and Greece bagged their victories with two late goals!

Greece won against the Georgian national team, which is coached by ex-Bayern star Willi Sagnol, with a last-minute penalty in the 90th minute. In stoppage time there was even the second goal.

The Scots did the same as the Greeks against Israel. United pro Scott McTominay buxed the ball over the line from very close range in the 94th minute. An enormously important victory for the Scots, who now have a four point lead in second place.
