A resident of Rome was attacked by wild boars while walking his dogs, writes “Republika”, quoted by BTA.
The incident happened after midnight. The man, named Stefano, who is a cameraman for the Italian TV station La Sette, took his two husky dogs out in the Camiluccia neighborhood. A huge wild boar came out from behind the nearby garbage cans, followed by other wild pigs, and attacked one of the dogs. The man started kicking the pig and then she turned her attention to the other dog she chased. It tried to get away, but went onto the road and was hit by a passing car. The driver of the car stopped and helped the owner of the two dogs. The run over dog was taken to hospital, and municipal police were called to the scene of the incident with the wild boars.
“It was terrible. Such things are unacceptable,” says the attacked man.
