With the 1. FC Nürnberg a second division team has reached the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup. On Wednesday evening, the Franks have the VfB Stuttgart guest at the Max Morlock Stadium. Where is the game broadcast?

Nuremberg and Stuttgart last faced each other in the DFB Cup final in 2007, which FCN won 3-2 in extra time. VfB clearly won the most recent meeting in June 2020 (2nd Bundesliga) 6-0.

Both clubs suffered a defeat last weekend. While the club was unhappily beaten 1-0 by SV Darmstadt 98 in front of their home crowd, the Swabians lost 3-0 at 1. FC Union Berlin. VfB is thus still at the bottom of the table in the Bundesliga.

In response to the lack of results, the Swabians changed coaches ahead of the DFB Cup and replaced Bruno Labbadia with Sebastian Hoeneß, who will make his VfB debut against FCN.
