Videos | Wout van Aert strikes immediately in Tour of Britain, Nils Eekhoff second

After the Games, Wout van Aert took the gas back for a week and then immediately went back to Livigno for a long altitude training period. That immediately pays off now that he was back on track in the Tour of Britain on Sunday, because he immediately won the first stage.

On the way to Bodmin, the Jumbo-Visma strongman beat our compatriot Nils Eekhoff in a sprint up the hill. In addition to Eekhoff and Gonzalo Serrano and Ethan Hayter who is in top form, he was classified in the same time as Van Aert.
