Earlier, a video was viral on the Internet, where, after a heavy downpour in Almaty, a man swims in a puddle in the Alma City-3 MZhK.
As it became known, on the same day, the akimat of the Nauryzbai district was promptly pumped out of water in the territory of this residential complex, and its developer Qazaq Stroy took upon himself the solution of the problem.
Qazaq Stroy Managing Director Bolat Ibragimuly commented on the situation: “Nauryzbaysky district is a new district in Almaty. The construction of the Alma City-3 MRC, including the improvement of the territory with water disposal under the Nurly Zher program, was completed in November 2022.
Due to the fact that the MZhK Alma City-3 was built earlier than the punching of Tole Bi Street was completed, it turned out to be impossible to connect the wastewater disposal. As a result, the residential complex was flooded. To eliminate flooding, a design solution was adopted to drain rain and wastewater across the territory of the MZhK using ditches B-3, LZhK and a discharge device into overflow and drainage wells. The implementation period is until the end of August this year.
