Huawei would have released its new HarmonyOS system sharply in April, according to reports. The broad launch has been delayed, but HarmonyOS is expected to land sometime in early summer.

A four-minute video, first published on Weibo, shows HarmonyOS 2.0 on a Huawei Mate 40 Pro. All icons are on the home screen, with seemingly two different types of app grouping.

A swipe down from it right the top of the screen shows quick settings, as in iOS. A swipe from the top left exposes another menu. In early February, HarmonyOS was simply an Android interface, but it is possible that the finished system deviates more from Google’s platform.
