Wout Brama gives a bowl to Bryan Ruiz

FC Twente took part in Bryan Ruiz’s farewell match in Costa Rica last December. The farewell of Wout Brama is scheduled for Friday 8 September and Ruiz will be present.
A large part of the 2010 championship team will return to Enschede especially for this evening. Together with players who won the KNVB in 2011, they will compete against a team with which Wout played together during his rich career. Players from the current selection of FC Twente will also make an appearance.
“It is an honor to be present at Wout’s farewell match. I want to tell you that I will be there on September 8 in De Grolsch Veste to play in this wonderful event,” says Ruiz in a video message. “I wish Wout the best in this match. I hope and know that you will enjoy it and that it will be a beautiful day for you. I will be there, friend. Pura vida”, said the Costa Rican.
Season ticket holders can buy back their own spot for the special match until Sunday 20 August. The free sale will start on Tuesday 22 August.
