[VIDEO] Prince Mauritsschool happy with Green-Blue schoolyard

On Thursday, Alderman Armand van de Laar and Marcel Belt of the Hoogheemraadschap took a look at the Prince Mauritsschool in Rijswijk. The school is working on greening and has therefore created a green-blue schoolyard.

More play options
In the past, the schoolyard consisted only of stones, so the children could do nothing more than run and play football. But now that a green-blue schoolyard has been laid out, the children can enjoy a play set in the sandbox, a water pump and a basketball court.

The schoolyard is a great success and is part of the new water plan of the municipality of Rijswijk and the Delfland Water Board.
