Former world number one Naomi Osaka has returned to training just a few weeks after giving birth to her child.
The 25-year-old retired from tennis due to stress issues and has made headlines again with the arrival of her baby.
Interestingly, however, the Japanese tennis star has returned to training, much to the surprise and delight of her fans, who didn’t expect her to return to training so soon.
The four-time Grand Slam winner has been very vocal about her mental health and has taken long breaks as a result.
Her last game was in September 2022 and many didn’t know what caused her recent break, but it was later revealed that she was pregnant.
Osaka drew attention with her triumph at the 2018 US Open, beating the legendary Serena Williams in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
After this victory, she won three more Grand Slam titles (Australian Open 2019 and 2021 and the US Open 2020).
However, she has never managed to advance to the fourth round of the two main Grand Slam tournaments – French Open and Wimbledon.
