Motorcycle racer Katie Meyer made an 11-meter jump on her motorcycle from rooftop to rooftop of the 30-story Swissotel in Tallinn on Sunday, setting a world record.
The previous record was set in 1989 when the jump was made from the roof of a 16-story Las Vegas building, ERR morning TV reported on Monday.
According to Meyer, she used the motorcycle for a motorcycle trial, which allows you to take a sharp start.
“Since there is very little room for acceleration, this bike is the only possible choice due to its lightning speed, but usually motocross bikes are used for jumping,” the racer explained.
