Just like last year, this May 4 was also a sober Remembrance Day. The public was not welcome at the ceremony at the Marnezijl in Bolsward, but delegates from various agencies and associations were present.
Among others of the Oranje Committee Bolsward, the working group 75 years of freedom Bolsward and Scouting Jambowa. They laid wreaths at the monument. 89 ribbons have also been placed, bearing the names of the Bolswarder victims during the Second World War and also the foreign soldiers who died in Bolsward.
